D&AD

We are really excited to announce that we have won a D&AD award for our work for The House of St Barnabas charity. To be specific, we’ve won a bronze ‘inbook’ award in the Graphic Design Section for our membership brochure.

The brochure had to be informative, inspirational and a call to action so it was designed like a scrapbook and includes: insights from past training academy attendees, the charity vision and an application form for the not for profit members club that the charity will open in September. To meet the shoe-string budget, imagery for the brochure was created from illustrations, handwritten quotes, and existing imagery in a monotone palette to unify the look. The design aesthetic was inspired by the charity’s new positioning and its desire to stand apart from the rest of the homeless charities as this is a first of it’s kind, a training ground for sustained employment opening a not-for-profit member’s club.
